The book, King's Dream, uses the words of candidate Obama, as well as those of hundreds of journalists and others, to tell a unique story of the 2008 election.
The book proceeds in chronological order beginning January 1, 2008 and continues through election night. Each "day" of this news diary contains brief quotes from journalists, the candidates' speeches, and commentary from ordinary citizens.
It's a postmodern mashup that can be read like a novel or browsed like a reference book.
